Trivia Answer

Answer To Trivia

British novelist H.G. Wells had his biggest novels (such as The Time Machine and The War of the Worlds) adapted into feature films. He also had his The Island of Dr. Moreau made in the 1996 film. It was critically and commercially-panned. It was even nominated for a "Razzie" as the worst film of the year.

Thankfully, Wells' image was not tarnished because of the debacle. He remains an icon in the world of science fiction and fantasy. Catch the Steven Spielberg-directed War of the Worlds starring Tom Cruise. It's now available on DVD.
