It's Carol here to let you know
what's new at Video Magic.
My family is doing well and I
hope yours is too.
The studios have been stingy
with the big
New Releases lately. But October is going to be filled with
wonderful movies to watch. I've listed a few movies
below that I think you will enjoy.
If there isn't anything in the
New Release section that sparks your interest, why not take
this time to introduce your kids or grand kids to some
of those GREAT
movies from the past? There are thousands of wonderful
movies that may have a little age on them but they are
still as good as they were when you watched them the
first time. I myself have been going back and watching a
lot of the older movies that I enjoyed years ago and it
is just like watching them for the first time. I
recently watched
Driving Miss Daisy ,
Sixteen Candles,
Thelma & Louise
and
The Bridges Of Madison County.
My hubby Greg has been into the
Richard Pryor movies lately. He recommends
Silver Streak,
The Toy,
See No Evil, Hear No Evil &
Richard Pryor Live in Concert. All of
these are wonderful well made movies that will entertain
you for hours. If your kids are like Erica, you will
have to threaten them with the loss of some privilege to
get them to sit down and watch an "old movie" with you.
But trust me, it is worth the effort. They will love it
and you will get some great family time out of it!
Family suggestion:
Call, email, or IM all the kids and the spouse and tell
them to not make any plans for the evening. Go to
Video Magic and
pickup a great movie you remember from the past and a
bag of fresh popcorn. Now stop by the grocery store and
get some light bread, peanut butter, and jelly. Now go
home and make sandwiches and have a picnic in front of
the TV while you watch the movie!
Well I guess I had better go
now.
As always I would like to say
Thank You for renting your movies and games at Video
Magic. Without our loyal customers like you, there would
be no Video Magic.
I will be e-mailing you again
next week.
Have a wonderful rest of the
week.
