Weekly Update from Video Magic

It's Carol here to let you know what's new at Video Magic. First I would like to update you on my grandbaby Aurora Nichole. Well she turned 3 months old on Sept. 02, 2006 and she is still cute as a button. She has started to eat some solid food and she is holding her head up by herself and she has started to push up on her elbows. Amber says she thinks she is getting ready to cut some teeth. I have attached a picture of her so you can see how cute she is. She was 19 days old in this picture.

I would also like to update you on my father who has cancer. He has finally started his radiation treatments. He has to take the radiation treatments for 6 weeks and then they will go from there as to what other treatments he will have to have. I would like to thank every one that has been praying for my father and my family. I think the prayers are working because my dad seems to be getting along fine so far.

Well enough about me and my family. I hope that everyone is doing well in your family and that the rainy weather doesn't make everyone sick.

On another subject, there wasn't to many movies that came out this week. I have listed some below that I think you will enjoy.

New Releases at Video Magic and Carol's Recommendations

United 93 (We Recommend)

Amber watched this movie this morning and she said that it was a really moving movie. If you are in the mood for a tear jerker, then this is the one for you. Amber gives this one a We Recommend.

A real time reenactment of the events aboards United 93.

Desperate Housewives: Season 2 Extra Juicy Edition

If you watched Season One and enjoyed it, you are sure to enjoy Season Two. It is Extra Juicy. Erica gives this one a really big We Recommend.

My daughter Amber watched this movie and she said that it was great. She said that this is a movie that is suitable for the entire family. It is just an all around good movie. If you want to laugh, cry and feel good all at the same time this is the movie for you. Amber gives this one a really big We Recommend.

Friends with Money (We Recommend)

If you are looking for a good Drama/Comedy, then this is the movie for you. This is a tale of four west coast, life-long friends, who have achieved a level of comfort in their lives and have now settled into a life of designer clothes, charity events, and caring for the men (and offspring) in their lives. Amber gives this one a We Recommend.

Comedy Rated: R

Starring: Jennifer Aniston, Catherine Keener, Frances McDormand, Joan Cusack, K.C. Clyde, Bobby Coleman, Scott Caan
