It's Carol here again to tell you what's new at Video Magic.

I guess I should update you on Aurora Nichole. She went to the doctor this week to get her 4 week check-up. She weighed a whopping 10 lbs 4 ozs. She is a chubby little thing. Cute as a bug in a rug.

Well enough about my grandbaby.

I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July. We cooked out on Sunday because that was the only day that all of our family could get together.

On another subject. I have watched a few good movies this week. So I would like to tell you about the ones that I would recommend.

The Matador: This was a different kind of movie for Pierce Brosnan to play. Pierce Brosnan plays such a different part in this movie, Greg said that it kind of soured his opinion of him in both of  the roles of James Bond and Remington Steel. If you want to continue thinking of Pierce Brosnan as an intelligent and brave man then you do not need to watch this movie. The story line was good. A bit strange but the movie was well worth watching. I would give this one a We Recommend.

Rumor Has It... : This is a really good romantic comedy. If you are wanting a good movie with romance and comedy, then this is the one for you. My daughter Amber gives this one a We Recommend.

Date Movie: This is a really good comedy. It is a comedy that is a spoof about all of the big romantic comedies that have been released lately. If you like silly comedies then this is the one for you. My daughter Erica gives this one a We Recommend.

Madea Goes to Jail: If you liked the other Tyler Perry plays then you are sure to like Madea Goes to Jail. I haven't seen this one myself but I have heard from friends and other customers that this Tyler Perry play is very funny. The customers at Video Magic gives this one a We Recommend.

The Ringer: This outrageous comedy has Johnny Knoxville who plays like a mentally handicapped special Olympic participant. This comedy is sure to make you laugh your boots off. Erica would like to give this one a big We Recommend.

As always, I would like to thank you for renting your movies at Video Magic. Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you should need to contact Greg or Me for any reason, please feel free to give us a call at 423-247-0062 or send us an email to comments@videomagic.com.

Take care and have a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Your Friend at Video Magic.

Trivia Answer

Answer To Trivia

Way back in 1991, Indiana-born actor Greg Kinnear got his start as the host of E! Entertainment Television's show "Talk Soup." It's an infamous comedy show which showcases highlights (or rather, low-lights) from various talk shows. Kinnear was the host until 1995 when he was replaced by a string of hosts including Hal Sparks and Aisha Tyler. (The show now lives on under another name, "The Soup," with host Joel McHale.)

Kinnear moved on to the big screen with 1995's Sabrina co-starring Harrison Ford. In 1998 he was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role opposite Jack Nicholson in As Good As It Gets.

Kinnear is back with another big co-star with Pierce Brosnan in The Matador. This film got little attention at the box office but the comedy deserves a look on DVD. Watch it today!
