It's Carol here again to tell you what's new at Video Magic.

I am sorry that I didn't get to write to you last week, I had a really hectic week and before you know it, the week was over.

To start off with, my beautiful Granddaughter Aurora Nichole is doing very well. I got to baby-sit her some this past week and she is really precious. She is still growing like a weed and eating like a little pig. I think she is going to take after my son-in-law to be Adam. She definitely has her daddy's appetite.

Well on another subject. I have seen some really good movies this past week. And as usual I'm going to tell you about them.

Eight Below: What a wonderful family movie. This is one of the best movies that I have seen in a while. It is the story of eight working dogs that are left behind in the artic when a huge storm is coming. You will laugh and cry at the same time, while watching this very heart warming movie. My entire family gives this movie a big We Recommend.

Failure to Launch: If you are looking for a great love story-comedy with a good looking hunk to look at to boot, then this is the one for you. This movie is just wonderful. I really enjoyed it. I would give this one a really big We Recommend.

Madea's Family Reunion : If you liked Diary Of A Mad Black Woman then you are sure to like this movie also. It is a Drama-Comedy that tells the story of Madea's Nieces and the trials and tribulations that they go through in their personal relationships. This all takes place while Madea is trying to plan a family reunion. Juanita gives this one a We Recommend.

The Hills Have Eyes: Are you looking for something to scare the boots off of ya? Then you need to watch this one. It is gory as well as scary. I didn't think that I would like this movie, but I did. The family acts like a real family, in the way that they argue and behave. If you are looking for a good horror movie then you really need to watch this one. I would give this one a We Recommend.

Cars: Video Magic now has the Xbox and PS2 game to rent. I bought this one for my six year old son Justin and he really enjoyed it. This game is suitable for the entire family to play. And if you haven't seen the movie yet, you really need to take the kids to the theater to see it. The movie is really cute and it has a wonderful sound track. Justin gives this game a big We Recommend.

If you are wanting to take the family to the theater to see a good movie, you might consider Click . We took our family to the theater over the weekend to see it and we all really enjoyed it. It is funny as well as heart warming. You will die laughing and cry your eyes out. Really good movie. But keep in mind the theatre is much higher than renting at Video Magic. We spent $36.00 for six of us to see the movie and another $12.50 for five drinks and $4.25 for Justin to have a kids pack for a total of $52.75 quite expensive for a night out. If you can wait for this movie to come out on DVD you can rent it at Video Magic for only $3.49 and you can get a fresh bag of popcorn for only $1.29 and you will have $47.97 left over to spend on gas.

As always, I would like to thank you for renting your movies at Video Magic. Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you should need to contact Greg or Me for any reason, please feel free to give us a call at 423-247-0062 or send us an email to comments@videomagic.com.

Well I better go, I'm in the middle of remodeling my house and I need to get home and lay some tile. Take care and have a wonderful rest of the week.

Your friend from Video Magic.

Trivia Answer

Answer To Trivia

In 1999 -- before "American Idol", before "Survivor", before "Big Brother" -- Matthew McConaughey starred as a slacker who agrees to have his real life broadcast on a TV network in the movie EDtv. The movie somewhat predicted the love affair we Americans would have with Reality TV.

McConaughey is once again in the role of a slacker for his latest, Failure to Launch. He plays Tripp, a 35-year-old guy who won't move out of his parents' house. Behind his back, Tripp's parents decide to hire Paula (Sarah Jessica Parker), a woman who specializes in getting guys like this out and into their own place. It's a formula that adds up to romantic comedy gold.

Catch Failure to Launch -- co-starring Kathy Bates and Terry Bradshaw as the parents -- on DVD. It's a movie that both men and women will enjoy.
